Sports entertainment is defined as a type of sport that is put on specifically for the audience’s entertainment, and unlike regular sports these types of sports are theatrical and may already have a predetermined winner. Types of sports that fall under the sports entertainment category are ones like professional wrestling or roller derby. Professional wrestling, like the WWE, is openly known as being a scripted sport where the winners are already predetermined. These types of sports are shown on regular sports channels along with regular competitive sports.
