Financial planning is defined as a budget or a plan for future money. Many families use financial planning in everyday lives to make sure things like bills get paid or to make sure there is money for groceries. Financial planning can also be used to save for things like vacations or birthdays. You can make a financial plan simply with some paper, a pen, and a calculator however there are computer programs like Quicken that can be used as well. These programs can be purchased at office supply stores and are relatively inexpensive.
